Very impressed. The flavors are not what I would expect for this region and a great surprise. Everything was delicious and full of flavor. The ambiance is great and service was wonderful! Would highly recommend!

I loved the food, service and ambiance! Five stars all around. Myself, my mom and my sister enjoyed this establishment. Our waitress was a gift and the general manager sweet as can be. Our meals were to die for! Will definitely come back!

Regardless of the crowd that was in this place last night, this is truly a hidden Gem in Schereville. This restaurant has won several recent food awards, and I see why. They're kind of torn between a white table cloth date night and family friendly hangout and eat type of place, but overall it's a beautiful and welcoming environment. Now I will say the server we had threw me off a bit. She came to our table tired, dry, and lacked any knowledge of the bar and the menu, so it was kind of like we were on our own, but the GM Casey was a savior not only to our table, but the entire restaurant. This guy was all over the place mingling with every table, and everywhere he went you would know because there would be an uproar of laughter from everyone. The guy is a natural in the hospitality industry and you can tell he is a veteran at what he does. Now let's talk food. They don't mention who this award winning Chef is, believe me I searched. I will say whoever they are they deserve every award they've received and more. I'm a lover of Mexican cuisine, and I hate when someone mentions to me about a Mexican restaurant that tries to mix with fine dining, because true Mexican food is not fine dining. It's from the soul. It's messy, and it's delicious, but the Cervantes family has proven me wrong. This food was MAGNIFICO!!! I mean it. I was blown away by the flavor combinations that were swirling around my tongue. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. This food had my emotions all over the place, and somebody behind the bar truly knows what they are doing. I ordered the red sangria but my Lady ordered the Watermelon Margarita and wow was that thing excellent. We had the guacamole trio. That pomegranate one was different and next best to the original. The Comal dish was a no brainer. Everything was so well seasoned and melted in your mouth. Now I'm an Al Pastor guy, but this was not my fave. To much pineapple for me. Still tender as heck though. All I can say to you folks is get here. Don't complain about the drive if you're from Chicago like myself, believe me it's worth it.

Had a group of six and stopped in for a quick bite. Food was delicious. Big burst of flavors! Our waitress was very friendly, smiling and attentive. She answered all questions with a smile. They had live music which was awesome and sound wonderful. Place looks nice and clean. I do want to go back to try other menu options. Kind of pricey! I'm going strictly for the experience. If I want Mexican I know a couple different spots that are more affordable. However, I do recommend! Try it for yourself.

A friend and I had my early Birthday dinner here today. I live near Chicago and my best friend lives in St John. She asked me where I wanted to go and I decided to take the little drive out by her and check out Mi Sueño. I could not be more pleased with my choice. We sat at the bar and the drinks were great..I had a Margarita which was on point and I also had the Passionate cocktail which was very tasty. My friend had a Paloma and an old fashioned and she enjoyed them both. For an app we had Queso Fundido with Chorizo which was excellent. Their chips and salsa are really good too by the way. We shared The Mixed Fajitas which were a little on the salty side but still very good. The bartender overheard us talking about my Birthday and they brought out a scoop of chocolate ice cream and a cute sparkler and sang. We were getting ready to leave and Sam, the manager or owner not sure came over and asked how everything was and we chatted for a bit. The bartenders were so nice and friendly! Great foods, drinks, service and atmosphere!! Go check it out, you will not be disappointed!!

I am pretty sure the waitress was aware of how happy our table was with this place. The food and handmade margaritas are definitely a carnival ride for your taste buds. I am literally eating my leftover steak taco from last night. Big fan of the Mexican street corn too. The food and ambiance is comparable to a 5 star river north restaurant. Had to cross the state border to check it out but it was definitely worth the drive. We will be back!

This restaurant has very elegant upscale decor! It's located off of the busy route 30 so many people might miss out on this gem. I was excited for the taquitos stuffed with potatoes instead of meat. The chips and salsa were very, very good. I will definitely return.

An amazing atmosphere with great drinks, kind servers and a super fun vibe especially on the weekends!
